Elon Musk is so desperate for electricity…

He shipped a power plant across the ocean.

He's running dozens of gas turbines around the clock.

And by some estimates, he's burning nearly $1 billion a month — because he can't turn on the world's largest supercomputer without equipment that takes up to 2 years to get.

One small company can deliver it on his timeline.

Wall Street hasn't connected the dots yet.

💡 BONUS BREAKDOWN: XRTX (XORTX Therapeutics)

XORTX Therapeutics (XRTX) exploded 43.1% today to $3.22, and frankly, I'm not surprised. The Canadian biotech just closed its acquisition of Vectus Biosystems' VB4-P5 program — a kidney fibrosis treatment that could be a game-changer.

Here's what actually happened: XORTX paid $3 million for an anti-fibrotic asset targeting chronic kidney disease. Sounds small, but kidney fibrosis affects millions of patients with limited treatment options. If VB4-P5 works, we're talking about a massive addressable market.

The timing is interesting too. XORTX also confirmed its 1-for-5 share consolidation is effective, meaning they cleaned up their share structure right before announcing this acquisition. Smart move — it shows management is thinking strategically about institutional interest.

Volume was insane today — over 55 million shares traded versus typical daily volumes under 1 million. That tells me someone knew something, or the market finally woke up to what this company is building.

My take? This isn't a day-trade pop. XORTX now has a legitimate shot at developing a treatment for a massive unmet medical need. The $3 million price tag suggests they got a steal, probably because Vectus needed cash fast.

Risk? It's still early-stage biotech. Clinical trials are expensive and failure rates are high. But at current prices, the upside potential significantly outweighs the downside if you can stomach volatility. Worth watching closely.
